Randy Bettis once again mixes together a delightful summer blend of dance favorites for his latest GayDays commemorative CD. His musical choices here are intended "to give expression to the special magic created during GayDays... coming together in this joyous place". He succeeds at creating a mix full of happy anthems, bringing together some older classics with newer hits. Highlights include the great house mix of Simply Red's "Sunrise" which opens the disc, RuPaul's new version of the Frankie Knuckles' track "Workout", Je'saue's new funky house remake of the Temptations/Love & Rockets classic "Ball of Confusion", plus one of last year's new remixes of Ultra Nate's dance anthem "Free".
