The U.K. Klone label's Mad About the Boy series reaches an even dozen volumes with this release which once again delivers two discs of bouncy NRG and euro perfection. Besides the normal Klone stable of artists, this release stands out for including new tracks from major NRG dance stars like Mary Kiani, Ernest Kohl, and Nicki French (of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" fame, who here does a fierce dance version of Celine Dion's ballad hit "I Surrender"). Other notable tracks include remakes of "F**k It" and "Not In Love" by NRG favorites Primero, Jacquii Cann's version of Kylie's current hit "I Believe In You" plus her take on the classic "I'll Stand By You", and America's own DJ Swissboy, who along with guest vocalists, contributes his versions of the Eurythmics' "Here Comes the Rain Again" and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" to this compilation, both of which have been changed by Swissboy into cool new eurotrance arrangements that are spectacular reinterpretations of the originals.
