While the Party Groove series has typically focused on the older gay dance circuit crowd, this addition to the series goes after a much younger target audience, the barely legal college crowd.

GayCollegeParty is actually the promoter of a bunch of hot events in New York City where multitudes of young gay boys flock. Any young gay male in the Big Apple is surely familiar with their Saturdays at Heaven, Dentention Thursdays, and Sundays at Avalon. According to the CD booklet, these events feature "cute young guys with slim, glistening bodies and flipped-up Abercrombie collars"... OK, that description surely got a rise out of some of you :)

The featured DJ for this mix is the very cute Seth Gold, who at the tender age of 25, has already performed at some of the largest and most famous club venues in the country including: Limelight/Avalon (NYC), Hydrate (Chicago), Nation (DC), Stonewall (NYC), Chrome (Philly), 13 Little Devils (NYC), and Heaven (NYC). His mix for this CD features tons of hi-NRG remakes and remixes of pop classics including such anthems as "Holiday", "You Spin Me Round" and "A Little Respect", plus newer favorites as "Naughty Girl", "Love At First Sight", and "I Turn To You". This is a great disc for those seeking a more mainstream mix that doesn't go too heavily into techno or trance. The eye-candy boy blowing a big bubble on the CD cover pretty much captures the bouncy, bubblegum nature of this mix, which by the way, would make a great aerobics disc too!
